In July, our engine-powered fixed-wing UAV completed the first civil initiative, from the milestone of cross-sea automatic flight from Pingtung Donggang Township to Xiaoliuqiu's safe and automatic return. At the same time, the monitoring of man-made and natural disasters is set as one of the first-stage goals and tasks of TAIWAN UAV.
Our UAV began to be used in Taiwan's marine pollution prevention and control monitoring, in conjunction with the National Central University Space and Telemetry Center. In December of the same year, the cargo ship Gini ran aground in Suao, and the oil spill spread for one kilometer. UAV was dispatched to carry out continuous monitoring for a week.
TAIWAN UAV implemented the project plan of Pingtung County Government Environmental Protection Bureau, UAV began to be used in domestic river environmental monitoring work, gradually expanded the scope of UAV application, and helped relevant units to improve their service capacity. Completed the first mountain and valley flight mission. The flight altitude was 1,800 meters above sea level. The shooting target point was the collapse of the upper reaches of the Aliao River in Wutai Township, Pingtung County. The peaks on both sides were over 1,000 meters high. Completed the cross-sea Xiaoliuqiu flight around the island, with a continuous communication distance of 20 kilometers. Shot on the coastline of Hengchun Peninsula, three sorties were completed in one day.
Reached the milestone of 55 kilometers of cross-sea flight, and the UAV made an automatic round-trip flight from Mailiao, Yunlin to Jibei Island, Baisha Township, Penghu County. The TU-25 was developed, and the flight time of the fixed-wing UAV was increased to 3 hours. The number of flight voyages exceeded 500, and the cumulative flight time exceeded 600 hours.
TU-25 is officially included in the main mission model. The fixed-wing UAV lift has the service capability of flying at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters above sea level, with a flight time of more than 3 hours and a communication distance of 64 kilometers. Implemented the Environmental Protection Agency's marine pollution plan, and worked with the coast patrol unit to carry out the illegal refueling operation of ships in the Penghu waters, and the news media reported fruitful results. Invested in the Land Surveying and Mapping Center of the Ministry of the Interior to develop unmanned aerial vehicle aerial photography technology operations, and the UAV system developed by TAIWAN UAV officially entered the field of aerial surveying and mapping applications. Since then, the UAV aerial photography business of high mountain valleys has been incorporated into one of the key development directions of TAIWAN UAV.
Began to be used in the field of marine fishery and aquaculture. The Aerial Telemetry Society entrusted TAIWAN UAV to be responsible for the implementation of UAV aerial photography operations for marine fisheries and aquaculture. This is a plan of the Fisheries Administration. The rotary-wing UAV has begun to introduce business execution, and cooperate with the fixed-wing UAV to expand the service capacity. Implemented the Dahanxi unmanned aerial vehicle aerial photography plan of the Water Resources Bureau of the New Taipei City Government to shoot high-resolution aerial images with a resolution of GSD10cm.
The engine system is upgraded to a two cylinder gasoline-powered engine, which improves fuel-saving efficiency and flight time, and improves the efficiency of high-altitude flight. Introduced into the domestic agricultural survey application, and carried out the Nantou rice field survey and shooting (total area of about 109 square kilometers) by the Air Telemetry Society.
The energy for large-area shooting has been improved, and aerial photography of large-area cornfields has been carried out (the total area is about 263 square kilometers, and the execution will be completed within one day).
The TU-25 UAV flight test altitude reaches 4500 meters. Put into the UAV test of the push-back dual vertical stabilizer model. Develop UAV automatic landing function verification. The number of flights exceeded 1,000, and the accumulated flight time exceeded 1,400 hours.
Commenced the development of a new generation of push-back dual vertical stabilizer UAV TU-40. UAV is also equipped with an optical photography payload and a multi-spectrometer, which is used in domestic farmland planting and aquaculture applications (together with the Air Telemetry Society). The Center for Space and Telemetry of Central University implemented the Environmental Protection Agency's sea pollution plan, and entrusted our company to dispatch a rotor-type UAV on duty during the grounding incident of the Dexiang Taipei Ship, effectively assisting the Environmental Protection Agency to obtain information.
The TU40 is officially included in the mission fleet to perform energy boosting, and two fleets can fly missions at the same time. In addition, a plan was commissioned by the Agricultural Experiment Institute of the Agricultural Committee of the Executive Yuan to carry out large-scale UAV high-resolution (within GSD15cm) aerial photography operations during the flood season, and completed the shooting of a total area of 212 square kilometers in six townships in Pingtung within 6 hours. The number of flights exceeded 1,200, and the accumulated flight time exceeded 1,700 hours.
Undertaken the high-speed flying vehicle contract of NCSIST and completed the flight test verification.
The TU-40 UAV undertook mountain rescue missions, demonstrating over 10 hours of high-altitude flight in the Central Mountain Range.
The TU-40 fixed-wing UAV received the first special entity inspection certificate (No. CAA-UAVSIC-10900001) from the Civil Aviation Administration(CAA).
Exported the innovative TU-24VE, an all-electric, Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) fixed-wing UAV.
Appointed by the Ministry of National Defense as the premier manufacturer for military-grade commercial UAVs, securing a prototype contract.
The 1st qualified manufacturer to pass the flight test of the Minister of National Defense’s long endurance UAV.
